A couple of weeks ago I hooked up with musician/ song writer Lerix to film a short Q&A video. Everything went amazingly well that day. It’s always a pleasure to work with him. Anyway check it out and enjoy the video.
I’ve been working closely with Lerix who is one of the most charismatic, and talented emerging artist/song writers I have met. His passion and energy for music drives people to keep moving forward. Lerix was born with the mic and it shows in his music. I proposed the idea to showcase raw previews of him for people to connect with the artist from a different perspective. 365 is film born out of the pure desire to challenge myself to create moving image with a digital slr camera. With the fantastic work and inspiration from cinematographer Ron Fricke and film Koyaanisqatsi. I wanted to push every aspect of my knowledge, and technical artistry, and show what can be achieved on a minimal budget, using off the shelf hardware. I’ve always had a fascination with the movement of man, and nature. The balance of delicate and out right havoc. Time-lapse opens a perspective that depicts many aspects of the relationship between humans, nature, and technology. ~ Dwayne
